Gift Ideas for Grandpa

Gift Ideas Grandpa
Buying a gift for Grandpa on Father's Day is really hard. When you ask him what he wants, he simply replies "just you".  Isn't he so sweet!  But you can't respect his wishes (SORRY GRAMPS!), you need to get him a gift.  After pondering what the best gifts to give Grandpa are, here is my list of the best six ideas I could find on the web and why.  And of course, like always- I will tell you where they can be purchased.

Grandpa Who Likes To Garden:  If your grandpa is always out picking weeds off his lawn and watering the plants, then trust me he will appreciate "Make Your Own Stepping Stones".  This gift is handmade by the kids especially for Gramps and his garden.  This DIY kit contains everything the kids will need to make the actual stones and decorate them.  Get the family together and have everyone make a stone and present them to Grandpa when complete, or do it as a family activity on Father's Day.  We found this gift at Wrapables for $28.

Grandpa Who Has A New Grandkid:  I love the Give me Five! Grandpa Handprint Frame!  Trust me there is nothing that the new grandpa will love more than having a frame of the baby's handprint and a picture of the two of them to keep on display at all times.  This is definitely a keepsakes that Grandpa will treasure forever!  We found this gift at BabySakes for $23.

Grandpa Who Wears Suits:  The Sonia Spencer I Love Grandpa Cufflinks are too cute! You can select the gender on the cufflinks as well as the hair color to really personalize them for Grandpa.  This is the perfect gift to give the Grandpa of young children who dresses frequently in a suit.  While he may not wear it to a client meeting, he will definitely get good use out of them.  We found these cufflinks at Kitson for $48.

Grandpa Who Plays Golf:  Golf takes up a lot of energy, especially when you play as much as Grandpa does!  This is why the Harvard Sweet Boutique Cookie Basket is my favorite gift to send the golfing grandpa.  These cookies literally melt in your mouth  and will be the perfect treat for when Grandpa comes home from a day of golfing.  These cookies are loved by the Boston Celtics and recently won an award as being the best cookies in Boston.  We found this gift at Harvard Sweet Boutique for $36.

Grandpa Who Spends Time With Grandkids:  When Grandpa spends a lot of time with his grandkids there are a lot of memories to be had and a lot of photos to be taken.  The Picaboo Photo Books are the perfect gift as they capture both.  All you have to do is upload your photos and customize each page of the photobook (from different page layouts, to thought bubbles, and more).  This book will look like it was professionally done and it will be one of Grandpa's favorite possessions!  We found this gift at Picaboo for $30.

Grandpa Who Deserves A Treat:  When you don't know what to give Grandpa, but you just want to show him how special he is to you, than the Lady Fortunes  Half Graham Picture Cookies are the perfect gift.  All you need to do is email them a picture of you and Gramps and place in the comment field that this is for Grandpa, not Dad!  You will have your pictures in 4-5 days time!  The cookies taste great and come out looking adorable.  We found them at Lady Fortunes for $2.50/each

You can't go wrong with any of these top picks for Gramps! He will be touched that you got him something so thoughtful!
